Central Assembly Meeting of NNJS
Convention of the 17th Central Assembly of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh took place during 3rd and 4th July 2010.
Honourable Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission Dr. Jagdish Chandra Pokhrel inagurated the convention. The convention was participated by the members of 31 district branches and representatives of various eye care organisations.
Annual Budget, Program for the next fiscal year, audit report of NNJS were approved by the meeting. The district branches also presented their accomplished activities and annual report.
The committee formed by the assembly to draft the proposed bill of directives for the future course of action came up with a proposed 15 points bill that was passed by the assembly following detailed discussion and necessary amendments.
