Now the trend and priority of eye care service is changing. Patients not only request for the service but they also expect and demand for quality service. Furthermore, achievements made by the organization in terms of quantity are not well measured in terms of quality and outcome.

Nepal Eye care programme is one of the paradigms for the world for NGO run health care services. This programme effectively started in early 80s and now extensive network of eye hospital and networks has been establish throughout the country.
